Our annual 5K event started in July 2022 with a goal of raising funds to support the programs we offer.
5K Run/Walk Event Details
In 2022, 12 people joined the first walk and we raised $600 to help with our youth mentoring program which is a 9-month program aimed at helping migrant high school students experience a robust mentoring experience that includes:
- Interviewing techniques
- Financial literacy
- Team-building field trips
- Community service-learning projects
- Workshops on SAT/ACT preparation
- Study skills/time management strategies
- Scholarship for college

Objectives: This event will raise money to provide support for immigrants to help them settle in the USA.
Event Details: The event will be held in person on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 8:00 am.
