In April, we focused on gardening and how we can start one and maintain it. Gardening has a lot of benefits.

  1. We can all grow some of the food we eat ourselves (organic food from your backyard!).
  2. Gardening can be very therapeutic especially in these days of lockdown and work from home, it will provide a means for us to get outside and get some fresh air. 
  3. It helps us to appreciate nature and be care of our planet. Planting a flower garden, herbs or vegetables will go a long way to help our environment.
  4. We become better stewards of the our planet as we recycle what we use daily (e.g. making compost and homemade fertilizers).
