In April, we focused on gardening and how we can start one and maintain it. Gardening has a lot of benefits.
- We can all grow some of the food we eat ourselves (organic food from your backyard!).
- Gardening can be very therapeutic especially in these days of lockdown and work from home, it will provide a means for us to get outside and get some fresh air.
- It helps us to appreciate nature and be care of our planet. Planting a flower garden, herbs or vegetables will go a long way to help our environment.
- We become better stewards of the our planet as we recycle what we use daily (e.g. making compost and homemade fertilizers).
